Run club trips!

We're a club, which means that the only people you see running trips are just other club members like yourself. If you're clever, you've already tweaked that this means you too can pitch in by organizing a trip and make what you want to happen, happen!

You'll get the full resources of the club including maps, gear, help organizing and advertising via our awesome website, and best of all, experienced club members to lend word of advice. Trip organizers get the perk of not paying for gear hire on their own trips, so you get a bit back for your trouble.

Now, before we get too far ahead of ourselves and tramp off a cliff, there is a bit of planning and paperwork, but none of it is very hard. You'll need permission from the activity convenyor or committee in the case that it's not one of our common activities, but since they're the best resource for helping you run things, it's fairly well expected that you will be in contact with them anyway. You'll also need to post it to the calendar, and fill out an intentions form to lodge with the club and RMIT Sport & Recreation so that if you don't come back, we know where to look. After that, add some water, time and sunshine and the bumblies will be in full bloom soon, stumbling over each other to go have a wicked time with you. Pack them in to cars, head off on your merry way and that's all there is to it. See, we knew you could do it!

Ok, there might be a tiny bit more to it, but that's the spirt of things and after one or two goes, it'll only take you about 10-20 minutes to put it all together. Honestly. It's not hard and everyone benefits, so give it a whirl.

There will be more information to come to this section, but if you're keen, start contacting the relevant activity convenyor (find them here http://roc.org.au/committee.php) or come along to one of our monthly committee meeting/social nights (first Monday of each month) and ask around a bit.
