  • “Club trip” hire prices may differ from “personal hire” rates and will be determined by the Gear Hire Officer or Trip Leader.

In addition to the $20 deposit, a valid student card, credit card or driver's license must be given as security for the hire period.
  • Free gear hire will be available to trip leaders for the duration of a trip, and to the Gear Hire Officer
  • Late returns will result in the hiring member paying extra to cover the period the gear is overdue. Members may not hire when they still have overdue gear or unpaid hire fees.
  • The Gear Hire Officer reserves the ultimate right to refuse hire, determine fees owed, and coordinate the operation of the ROC Gear Room at his or her discretion.
