How to Join the Outdoors Club
To join the RMIT Outdoors club you must first complete the online registration at http://www.launch.rmit.edu.au, then come to the gear room and make your payment. For Insurance reasons no RMIT Outdoors Club member will be permitted to participate in any club trips until they are registered on the launch system.

$25 - RMIT Community (RMIT students, staff, alumni)
$50 - Others (all other participants including students from other unis)
These instructions are currently outdated due to changes in the RMIT Union's Launch site. Check back soon for updated instructions.
Launch is RMIT Union's official website and all club members must be registered through this site. Unfortunately the system is a little bit complicated and not as straight forward to use as it could be. So follow the instructions listed below to complete your registration on launch. Once you have completed this registration you membership will not be valid until we have received payment.
- Go here (shift-click to open in a new window!)
- click ‘Book Now’ and then accept the Terms and conditions.
- Login or click ‘register my details’ if you need to create a new launch account (if you have forgotten your login you can use the 'forgot your password' link to recover you login and password). If you are registering a new account you may need to go back and start from step 1 again once you have created your account.
- RMIT members must enter student/staff/alumni number to get discounted price, however dont worry if the incorrect price shows up in the following steps we can correct this when you come to make payment.
- Continue through the steps until you get to the ‘Booking Confirmation Page’
- Print out this page or record your customer and booking numbers
- Payments needs to be made at our Gear Room during opening hours. Please bring you booking confirmation details.
OR
If you have already paid before registering online you will need to email join@roc.org.au, your Name, Phone, Email, Launch ID (Launch Client No) and Booking Numbers. This is very important since we need to be able to match up your payment with your record in the launch system
Finally please note, that there is now just a single sign-up on the launch site for all Outdoors club members, this means that your membership type and payment amount will be determined when you come to pay for you membership.
Also the RMIT Launch Site is completely seperate from this website, You CANNOT log into the ROC site with the username you created on launch.
